Yes, I am still alive. I had so wanted to keep this up more than I have, but have been very busy, and when I get home from work, and after I get the boys down I am so tired that I just collapse on the couch exhausted.
I know it has been months so I will have to give you the Cliff Notes for now. I led a women's Bible Study by Beth Moore last spring called A Heart Like His, and it was really great. That woman really knows how to minister to other women. She has a gift. We had a busy summer with 17 camps in 11 weeks, and a total of 10,192 campers ( a record for Riverbend). We had over 760 salvations, and over 1,000 rededications (both of those are records as well). It was my first summer in the office, and it was quite a challenge. We did have some great times though. We had 4 fireworks shows, and Ben got to go fishing for the first time. We took the staff to Putt-Putt, and we played on the bumper boats, and Ben got to go on the go-cart with his Daddy, and we went golfing. Ethan got a hole in one every time. That happens when you just pick up the ball and stick it in the hole.
After summer we spent a week with my parents. We left the boys with them for a couple of days so we could go to Carlsbad and see the caverns. We stayed at a beautiful KOA in one of their little cabins (loved it!). The caverns were as amazing as I remembered, but man were our legs like jelly by the time we were done. We were sore for 3 days afterwards. We went back that evening to see the bats exodus from the cave, and we were in awe of how many there were. On our way back to my parents' house we did a little geocaching. As soon as we got there we bought a new GPS so we could do more. Since then we have gone 4 or 5 times, and are loving it. I love the spirit behind geocaching, just getting out of your car and enjoying the views around you and capturing some history along the way. It is great, and something that Brad and I enjoy doing together. We just had our Annual Fish Fry and Golf Tournament at work this week. We had 139 golfers and 1300 men total come to the fish fry. Chad Hennings was the speaker. It went so smoothly. The boys are doing great. Ben is 3 1/2 and is riding a bike with training wheels, and feels like big stuff. Ethan just turned 2, and is always amazing us with what he has to say. He is such a little boy now! I can't believe my baby is 2! He is always driving something around the house.
I am starting to get caught up on my scrapbooking. I have been about a year and a half behind, and I am now only about a year behind. Pretty bad huh? I know I haven't posted any new pictures on our website in a while, but I plan on working on that this weekend. Anyway, I hope everything is going well for you all, and good night.
